Key competencies

Accesibility

Along with our focus on architecture, structural design, heat & fire protection, the subject of accessibility is close to our hearts. Thanks to extensive experience, we can look back on a large number of realized barrier-free residential properties. One of them is our most recent project, the Villa Medici retirement home. The demand for age-friendly residences is increasing and is an important matter for the future. Due to this, we invest in further training and are involved in the specialist group "Barrier-free building" of the Chamber of Engineers in Hesse (IHK Hessen).

Data centres

As general planners, we have already developed and implemented over 70,000 m2 of data center space. Having excellent knowledge on all levels of approval procedures for data centers, we are a successful general planner on the German market and in other European countries. 
The expertise of our offices in the construction of data centers is outstanding. From project planning, design and planning to implementation, we will support you every step of the way.

Administration buildings

When it comes to modern office and administration buildings, we are familiar with the requirements, which are also in a constant process of change. We are the partner of your choice for the realization of your individual desires. Our team is working hand in hand to realize your projects. As individual as your company, your employees and your goals are, as individual we design the building.

1997

Our CEO Dieter Blumenschein founded Planen & Bauen and started in a small 40 m² office.

2002

His esteemed colleague and university friend Volker Reiling joins Planen & Bauen GbR and becomes a partner.

2004

After seven years, the two are no longer alone. In the meantime, the number of employees has risen to 22.

2008

Continuous training to strengthen competences and ensure the path to barrier-free construction and the management of large projects, data centres and administrative buildings.

2011

A branch office with a view of the skyline is opened in the Main metropolis. In the meantime, 14 colleagues work here.

2013

The headquarters of Planen & Bauen move into the Auerbach House with a lot of history. Here, the increasing number of employees also has enough space, with an office size of 705 m².

2020

In the meantime, Planen & Bauen has developed into a full-service provider with an international customer base. Our team currently consists of over 60 employees and we are far from finished...
