New construction of a senior citizens' residence in Hainburg
The task: With a floor space of 50,000 square metres, the senior citizens' centre in Hainburg is one of the oldest facilities of its kind in the area. In 2009, the need for more space and additional beds arose.
The realisation: In 2010, the foundation stone of this new extension was laid - and thus the beginning of a construction project costing over 8 million. The coordination of the entire project was in our hands as general contractor.
The new building, completed in 2012, now creates space for 116 single rooms in three residential units, a spacious entrance area and a multifunctional common room. As a low-energy building, the building is equipped with, among other things, an environmentally friendly pellet heating system.
